It is essential to quickly stop blood loss when waiting for emergency responders or on route to the hospital. While our standard Go-Kit includes a first aid kit, it is not intended for dealing with life-threatening bleeding situations. Our Go-Kit+ includes a Trauma Pack with Tourniquet to enable teachers and bystanders to perform potentially life-saving bleed control for unexpected injuries and emergencies. Trauma experts report that on average professional first responders take 10 minutes to arrive and that treatment to stop severe bleeding within three minutes greatly enhances chances of survival.
